‘Light Telephone’

When we see the light changing, what signal is being sent? Who is causing the changes? What is trying to be communicated? And how do we respond?

Evgeny Goman and Torbjørn T. Sandnes, in collaboration with Barents Bird and Center of Contemporary Art “21 A” in Murmansk and Pikene på Broen in Kirkenes, will set up an interactive experiment that will send light signals across borders, connecting people and letting creativity flow through colours, patterns, and sequences. In each place there will be an instrument, and in each gallery a set of controls. 

We know that it is not possible to gather together this year, but maybe we can still find a way to connect?
