Nadya Yukhnovets’s collection of sound work includes recordings made during a train ride on the Moscow-Vladivostok route in September-October 2015. The work includes recordings of an instrument (electric guitar) in various sound environments found during the train journey. Due to the fact that the journey lasted 7 days, the instrument was recorded in different time, space and event conditions.

In addition to the conceptual work with the instrument and the compiled sounds, the collection contains material that resembles the genres of field recording and sound documentary, which often captures the sound artist’s presence in a situation “being surrounded by people”, and reveals the anthropological component of the work.
